- Q What's the difference between mineral sunscreen and regular sunscreen?
- A Mineral sunblock uses titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to physically block the UV rays, whereas regular sunscreen uses chemical ingredients to protect your skin from the UV rays. - Q I'm looking for ways to keep my skin hydrated underneath my makeup. What product is great for retaining moisture and gives high sun protection with makeup?

- Q What makes your sunscreen a mineral sunscreen what do you guys use for ingredients?
- A We use Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide to block the sun's UV rays. Great ingredients for sensitive skin.
- Q Broad-spectrum sunscreens protect against both UVA and UVB rays. What is the difference between the rays?
- A UVA rays cause aging and allergies in the skin, whereas UVB rays cause the burning/ bronzing, and skin cancer.
- Q What is good to use to add hydration to combo/acne prone skin? My cheeks get very dry also.

- Q Is this OK to use on combination dry skin?

- A I would definitely suggest reapplying sunscreen every 2 hours and to go to the dermatologist frequently for testing.
- Q What are some of Eau Thermale Avène key ingredients that you are proud to use in your line?
- A I'm very proud of the Thermal Spring Water as a key ingredient. Its unique composition is clinically proved to reduce irritation. I also love our vitamin a (Retinaldehyde) we use it in our anti-aging products.
- Q I have read before advantages of "sterile products". What are Sterile Cosmetics? Do you use any preservatives at all?
- A In our sterile cosmetics we use no preservatives as the packing keeps the formulation sterile. These are amazing products for very sensitive skins.
- Q If I only do one product for my skin, which do you suggest for the best results without requiring too much time?

- A I would choose the Avene Thermal Spring Water, the Complexion Correcting Shield, and Physiolift Night Balm.
- Q Is this a good product for aging and acne-prone skin, due to hormonal breakouts?
- A The Complexion Correcting Shield is great for anti-aging as it has SPF and Vitamin C and E.
- Q What would you recommend me if I have an acne prone skin for the summer? I'm always scared to use moisturiser to not clog the pores even more.
- A Avene has the perfect product for you! It would be our Cleanance Expert. Use it morning and night all over the face as a moisturizer.
