For my skin I’ve discovered a new Holy Grail foundation! It’s the new Dermablend Flawless Creator Foundation and it really does give you flawless skin.

I’m a huge fan of all of the Dermablend products.I’m very conscious of what I put on my skin because I find I can be prone to getting spots and blemishes, but I feel totally comfortable wearing Dermablend as the products are non-comedegenic and non-acnegenic.

Brighten New Years Eve Makeup

New Years Eve Makeup has got to include highlighter. To keep up with the golden theme throughout the look I have chosen the RMS Beauty Master Mixer Highlighter.

I LOVE these highlighters, similarly if you’ve ever used the Tom Ford shade and Illuminate duo, this RMS highlighter is similar to that but better! The consistency is creamy and glides over the skin like silk for a hydrating golden glow.

Pucker up with MDMflow Liquid Matte Lipstick in the shade ‘New Nude’ to finish off your New Year’s Eve Makeup inspired by Desi Perkins. This liquid lipstick is ultra-creamy to apply but dries with a velvet matte finish.

Look Number 2 – New Years Eve Makeup

The second look on the list for New Year’s Eve makeup is this stunning, winged eyeliner and red lip by celebrity makeup artist Etienne Ortega, modelled wonderfully by non other than Christina Aguilera. This look is classic, timeless and perfect to style for a party.

As you can see in the image, Etienne executed a sharp winged eyeliner over a soft hue eye. Winged eyeliner does take practice but the products you use will help you fail or fly.

The Best Brush For Winged Liner

I wouldn’t use anything other than my trusty Sigma e06 Winged Liner Brush. Whilst it doesn’t look much because it’s so small, I consider this brush a weapon. Especially for achieving awesome winged liner. Team this up with the Illuminaire Beyond Black Everylasting Eyeliner for perfect wings everytime.

Finish by adding some drama to your lashes with some generous coats of the Laura Geller Dramalash Mascara. If you want it to mirror Etiennes masterpiece, focus most of the mascara on the top lashes and just a light coating on the bottom lashes.

This New Year’s Eve makeup look means your 12am kiss could get messy as the second star in this look is a red lip. You can see in the photo, Christina Aguileras lips look perfectly defined and the best way to achieve HD lips is with a good lipliner. The Elizabeth Arden Precision Glide Lipliners are so gorgeous. They’re so smooth and glide effortlessly, so there’s no need to press hard. My chosen red shade for this look is ‘Red Door Red’.

Once you have traced the liner on your lipline, scribble over your lips with the lipliner as this will help to lock in your lipstick even better. Add a layer of the Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick Matte-Finish in ‘Bold Red’. Apply this over your lipliner for a seamlessly blended red lip.

 TOP TIP:

For maximum wearing bold lips. Do one layer of lipstick, blot with a tissue and apply a second layer. Layering lipstick ensures maximum staying power.
