- Q What La Roche-Posay anti-aging products would you suggest for someone that has sensitive, acne prone skin? I have such a hard time finding some that do not cause a reaction.
- A La Roche-Posay skin care is formulated with high efficacy and safety standards in a full range of products to address skin needs, even sensitive skin. For anti-aging, we recommend Redermic R Serum with pure retinol. Try a small amount on your neck to make sure you don't get any reaction just to be safe. Use this only at night. For your acne, we recommend Effaclar Duo acne treatment with benzoyl perioxide, salicylic acid and micronized lipo-hydroxy acid. Use it as a spot treatment by applying thin layer. You can also use it all over the face but start with small amount first. Make sure your pillow case and face towel are white as it can stain them. [product_display id="1"]
- Q What's the best product to use to fight fine lines around the eyes and forehead?
- A For fine lines, we recommend our Active C10 Serum with Vitamin C. For your eyes, we recommend Active C Eyes. [product_display id="2"]
- Q I stopped using SPF since I stopped getting a tan in the sun. I actually got paler but then the sun spots came and now I'm looking to see which of your products I should use. I am over 50 and have dry skin.
- A The tricky thing about sun rays are that there are two kinds. One that contributes to tanning/burning and another that ages our skin with things like sun spots. The ones that age your skin are around all year round. So even if you aren't tanning you could benefit from a sunscreen to protect your skin. A sunscreen that can protect while correcting sun spots is Anthelios AOX. It has 3 antioxidants that fight free radicals. For a sun spot targeted treatment there's our Pigmentclar line. There's a cleanser and a serum you could layer into your routine. The most concentrated option there is called Mela-D Pigment Control. It has 3 complementary acid to help with spots and boost radiance. But is does it while still being safe for sensitive skin. [product_display id="3"]
- Q Do you have a product for the appearance of dark spots?
- A We have the perfect product for you. Try our Mela-D Pigment Control. [product_display id="4"]
- Q Does the La Roche-Posay line help with eczema and plaque psoriasis? If so, which products should I buy for those specific issues I have.
- A We recommend our Cicaplast Baume B5! [product_display id="5"]
- Q Which of your sunscreens would work best under my foundation? I need one that will not leave my skin greasy (I have combination skin) or cause my makeup to peel when I apply it.
- A We recommend Anthelios Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen. It absorbs pore-clogging oil in heat & humidity and it won't cause breakouts! [product_display id="6"]
- Q Do you carry makeup? Specifically, foundation or cc and bb creams?
- A Yes, we do! We have Effaclar BB Blur, a BB Cream makeup for oily skin to minimize the appearance of large pores and cover blemishes. [product_display id="7"]
- Q I need products that keep my skin from being oily but at the same time keep moisture - is that possible?
- A Yes, it is possible. Try using Effaclar Mat Moisturizer. It targets excess oil for a dual action: mattifies skin and refines large pores. It provides daily hydration in a moisturizer formulated for oily skin. [product_display id="8"]
- Q What products will help dull skin to become more refreshed and radiant looking?
- A For your dull skin, we recommend Active C10 with pure Vitamin C.
- Q I'm looking for products that put moisture into the skin, what do you recommend?
- A We recommend Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer. It comes in non SPF & SPF form. It contains ceramides, niacinamides and La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water. Thanks to these ingredients, the product helps to restore healthy looking skin! [product_display id="9"]
- Q I love my Anthelios 50 with daily anti-aging with primer, and my question is, should I use another sunscreen that has higher SPF with my Anthelios or is it enough alone to protect my skin?
- A SPF 50 is plenty of protection. Just remember to always reapply sunscreen every 2 hours!
- Q I am looking at switching to your Anthelios sunscreen. Is it gluten free? Will it work at the beach and under makeup on work days?
- A You can try our Anthelios SPF 50 Daily Primer. [product_display id="10"]
- Q What sunscreen is best for kids?
- A Our newest suncreen is for kids! It is Pediatrician and Dermatologist tested. Allergy tested. Suitable for sensitive skin. Paraben free, Fragrance free, Non-acnegenic, Non-comedogenic. [product_display id="11"]
- Q I have never had the chance to try La Roche-Posay sunscreen products but have always wanted to because I see so much good written about them. What makes them a better choice?
- A La Roche-Posay is recommended worldwide by 25,000 dermatologists! This year, for the 3rd year in a row our sunscreen has been rated a perfect score by Consumer Reports.
