Happy birthday King Kylie!

Kylie Jenner is 19 years young today, and yet when it comes to beauty this girl is overqualified. Her ‘low-key look’ is probably better than me at my highest maintenance. As the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner army, Kylie has had the most opportunities to learn about hair and make-up. In fact, there could be an entire channel on her hair and make-up looks. Oh wait, she has Snapchat. And Instagram. And her own app.

Of course, Kylie comes from a family of marketers, so this little entrepreneur knows better than to share all of her beauty secrets in one go. It’s taken some time, but I’ve studied her on ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’, watched endless tutorials with her glam squad and read countless interviews to come up with a shortcut to Kylie Jenner’s signature look.

Blend baby, blend

Kylie’s in the spotlight all day, everyday. For that amount of coverage she needs a lot of coverage, so will usually blend 2 foundation shades to get it just right. FYI You won’t need to mix and match with Dermablend, known to the professionals as ‘camouflage makeup’, but to get a flawless finish like Kylie, you will need a beauty blender.

Not only can you use it for your base, but Mario Dedivanovic, Kim Kardashian West’s ~~right arm~~ make-up artist taught Kylie to dampen the sponge first to set finishing powder. Kylie bakes but we don’t have time for that, so just soak, press and go with Jurlique’s Silk Finishing Powder.

Give your brows a lift
