The Brushes
The majority of Sigma brushes are made with exclusive synthetic fibers: SigmaTech® and Sigmax®. Both filaments are made with a special thermoplastic engineering polymer featuring exclusively thin fibers to softly and efficiently collect and deliver powder, liquid and cream products. With near to zero humidity absorption, the strength and stiffness of the filament is not affected by liquid and cream products. Featuring high stress resistance, hypoallergenic materials, each fiber is carefully hand-crafted to last a lifetime.
Sigma manufacture all handles by carefully selecting lightweight and high-resistance wood from renewable sources. Each handle is individually sanded and polished to the extreme before receiving 8 generous layers of prime coat and paint perfection. The brush ferrules are made with a high performance SigmaAlloy™ . This is a special metal alloy made with copper and zinc providing more strength than aluminum or plastic. The SigmaAlloy™ features wear, antimicrobial and corrosion resistance for maximum durability.
Also, the luxurious, precious ferrules are plated with thick layers of captivating chrome, copper and gold that guarantees lifelong striking shine and protection.
