Lowdown on the Scrub Down

As we all know, beautiful skin takes a little work.  It’s easy to be reminded that we need to exfoliate our face.  We look in the mirror each day and can easily see if there are dry patches of skin or breakouts forming on our face.  What about the rest of our body? Just because we can’t easily see the skin on our backs or behind our arms doesn’t mean that dead skin cells aren’t there.  So what do we do? Keep exfoliating. But this time include your body and not just your face. Exfoliating the entire body has many benefits. It can prevent acne on the body and help prevent dead skin cells from clogging freshly shaved or waxed skin.  This will ultimately reduce those pesky and sometimes painful ingrown hairs. It can also leave your skin smooth, soft, and hydrated. There are several different types of scrubs out there that will do a great job exfoliating your skin. Our current favorites are from Soap and Glory.  The Soap and Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub and Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub both do the trick with sweet, fresh, and delicate fragrances.  The Soap and Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub contains oat, shea butter, and sugar.  Banana, honey, and almond extracts are added to gently moisturize the skin.  The Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub contains lime, lemon, almond oil, and brown sugar. Vanilla musk and macadamia oils leave skin smooth and delicately scented.  Simply exfoliating at least once a week will instantly improve the look and feel of your skin.
